Alt-pop singer Banks has given her biting single "Gemini Feed" a striking new video packed with captivating, raw visuals.
The clip opens with a close-up on the California singer's face, her eyes covered in jewels. She sits atop a neon lit throne with a golden snake's tongue dangling from her lips. This regal image is contrasted with two interlocking vignettes in which Banks' two sides — one dressed in black, the other in white — writhe against each other while wrapped up in ropes.
"Gemini Feed" premiered at the beginning of August following previously released single, "Fuck With Myself," which wasaccompanied by an eerie video in which Banks serenaded mannequins bearing her likeness. Both songs will appear on Banks' upcoming second album, The Altar, which follows her 2014 debut, Goddess.
"I just had so much to write about, this album for me is really kind of like a metamorphoses of me coming into my own," Banks told theBBC's Annie Mac of The Altar.
